Delicious, fragrant wine with mild wood tones and a soft, round taste. A wine with a long finish that comes into its own when slightly chilled.
Colour: Light yellow
Smell: Apple, white fruit, notes of honey and spices
Taste: Fresh apple, white fruit, honey and spiciness, grapefruit, notes of wood
Finish: Quite long
Wine/food: Fried sole (or other fish), salad with goat cheese and honey vinaigrette, cheese sticks of puff pastry, roasted free-range chicken, chorizo sausage or a piece of young mature cheese.
Note: It is easy to taste that the Reserve was raised in oak barrels, but the wood tones do not come to the fore so that you cannot recognize the other flavors. The grapefruit taste reminds the wine of a New World wine, New Zealand, and gives a pleasant bitterness. Fresh dry wine that should be drunk slightly cool.
