Beautiful full-bodied wine whose grapes grew in Galilee. Fruity, with a firm base.
Colour: Garnet red.
Smell: Black currants, cherries, dark chocolate with spices in the background and some earthy (terroir) tones.
Taste: The odor impressions are reflected in the taste.
Finish: Fairly long.
Wine/food: Hard, slightly aged cheeses, red meat (also think of a tasty ball of mincemeat), hare pepper with red cabbage and mashed potatoes, stew (hachee), pate.
Note: The wine derives a fruitiness from the Merlot grapes 85% and consists for the 15% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which give it firmness.
